Man Wins Free Chick-fil-A for a Year in Rock Paper Scissors Tournament.

A Georgia man wins a Rock Paper Scissors Tournament. We still are debating what win is better, a Rock Paper Scissors Tournament win or the fact that because Chick-fil-A was holding the contest the winner received free Chick-fil-A for a Year!

Seth Welch a Watkinsville, Georgia was the winner of Chick-fil-A’s Tournament beating out 31 other competitors to take home the top prize and never having to worry about an empty belly for the next year!

Welch claimed that going into the competition he was sure he would lose quickly to “some 13-year-old”. After finishing the tournament with the championship in hand he said “To get past the first round was pretty cool… to win the whole thing was just pretty awesome”.
The games were played in a best three out of five format with the winner moving on. In total there were 5 rounds of competition.

Montanna Heffington, the assistant marketing director at Chick-fil-A Atlanta Highway, said she enjoyed giving youths and adults alike the chance to come out and play a game everyone knows and have fun.

“We love doing little events throughout the year to get more people here and get them more involved and to kind of just to meet and greet people,” she said. “And [we] always love to give away free Chick-fil-A.”
